#Exhaustion #Pain
I'm regularly accustomed to spend around two to three hours doing flips every 25m. For boxing, it is non-stop for an hour. My coach Carlos, clearly had to mercy towards me. But, without pain there is no gain as most athletes might say. He is very nice but very strict with all of us. We are seven in the class, sadly, I am the youngest but on the bright side if I work hard enough, I could beat the older guys.
For my Fit-Box classes, I have set myself two personal goals.
1. Improve my punching skills.Punching is the most essential in boxing. Knowing how to punch and how to defend yourself. Without those two basics then you might as well be doing something wrong. With this in mind, I want to perfect my punching strike in order for when I am not doing box, I will remember how to punch. | 2. Never miss any practice.Being responsible and demanding yourself more in a sport is a must. Responsibility because if you do not posses that skill then you will be constantly be missing practices or when you are training you might as well not be doing anything. Demanding yourself more work is also a must because then you push yourself harder and achieve greater accomplishments. If I am able to constantly be working in those two ethics then this will help me not only in swimming but also in my school work. |
